To develop innovative projects using Digilent products. These can be:
- Digital design projects featuring Digilent's FPGA boards, developed in environments such as Xilinx ISE WebPack or ISE Foundation, National Instruments LabView, etc.
- Microcontroller projects featuring Digilent's PIC-based embedded control boards, developed in environments such as Microchip MPLAB, MPIDE, etc.
This contest is open to all university students and will be held in a number of regions around the world. See below for the regional contest nearest you!

Digilent will be awarding generous prizes to the top finishers. Also, some participants will be awarded the Digilent hardware they used for their project as a prize.
The following are two well-received design contest seminars given by Digilent's own technical writer, Tom Isenberg. Past contestants have found these to be
very helpful in the preparation of their presentations and written reports.
